High blood cholesterol problem may lead to the critical complications such as cardiac problems that may be proven fatal in the due course of time. You can have mackerel, salmon, sardines and many others in your daily diet to fulfill the demand for omega 3 fatty acids in your system. Omega 3 fatty acids also help minimizing cardiovascular problems. If you do not like to take so much fatty fishes, you can always depend on substitute foods that lower cholesterol such as walnuts, soybeans and ground flax.
